How recognition can help generate more current and future gifts!
Throughout the past four decades, Liz has helped raise millions of dollars for nonprofits
using recognition-based initiatives that she will share with you.
Presenter: Liz Chambers
The highlight of Liz’s 40-plus years as a gift planner has been her volunteer work in various councils in California. At different times during ten of those years, she was the planned giving director for a hospital, an art museum, and most recently, a community college.
Liz was the Founding President of the San Joaquin Valley Planned Giving Council and the San Luis Obispo Council president. In addition, in the mid-1990s, for three years in a row, she coordinated full-day planned giving conferences for a consortium of the Fresno Estate Planners, the local AFP Chapter, and the San Joaquin Valley Planned Giving Council that reached from Sacramento to Bakersfield.
Liz has been a CGP Inland Southern California Council member for the last 10 years while living in the Coachella Valley. February 1st of this year, she semi-retired and moved closer to the Inland Empire, so she has generously offered to be of service as a new board member for our council.
