Planned Gift Valuations
What does the future of your organization look like? Many non-profit organizations market and promote planned gifts. They receive a host of revocable bequest notifications and a number of irrevocable bequests such as CRUTS, CRATS, CGAs. Once notified, are organizations keeping track of what distributions are to be expected in future years? Can a PGO tell a CEO how effective the planned giving program is, or what to expect to help with planning future development? Knowing the future valuations for all types of planned gifts and potential
distribution periods will add to a fundraiser’s knowledge base and provide an understanding of, the “Cost to Benefit Ratio” relevance.Presented By Vincent J. Fraumeni, Director of Planned Giving, Cal Poly Pomona
Vince Fraumeni graduated from Whittier College in 1969 and earned a Master of Arts in Education in 1972. He began a career in Education as an elementary and middle school teacher, and a community college instructor. His work as an alumnus volunteer led to his second career as a professional fundraiser.
Vince has specialized in Planned Giving since 1982 and has helped organizations raise more than $68 million in planned and major gifts. He developed planned giving programs for Whittier College, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, the House Ear Institute, Chapman University, and Anaheim Memorial Medical Center. For the nineteen years Vince ran his own business as a fundraising consultant working with non-profit organizations and was a regular sponsor of the Western Regional Conference on Planned Giving.
Vince has trained countless fund raisers and financial advisors about planned giving. He has conducted workshops and been a presenter at conferences throughout the country. He is a founding faculty member of the American Institute for Philanthropic Studies, is a former board member for National Association of Charitable Gift Planners (Formerly NCPG), and served as president of two local councils, Los Angeles and Orange County. He has written articles for many professional and vendor publications and is a frequent webinar presenter.
Vince has given back to his professional associations because that is where he learned the most about Planned Giving. It was through networking, attending workshops, and conferences that he learned the most about fund raising.
Vince and his wife Penny have been married for 54 years. For fun, they have traveled extensively throughout the world, have been on 45 cruises and have visited 43 different countries. They spend time with their children and three grandchildren and are community volunteers. Penny has been a school board president. Vince is an Eagle Scout and recently received a District Award of Merit presented to volunteer Scouters from the Orange County Council Boy Scouts.
He considers it an honor to be recognized by his peers.
